Tips for a great ornament

Your photo wraps all the way around the ball. A lithophane glows where the plastic is thin and stays dark where it's thick — so bright, high-contrast photos with a clear subject look best.

The guides on your canvas

  • Blue line (top) — the cap opening. Content above it is hidden by the cap.
  • Green dashed band — the safe area. Keep faces, text, and anything important inside it; the sphere squeezes content toward the top and bottom.

For the best result

  • Center your subject. Turn on Sphere-correct so the front of the ball reads flat — it's automatically centered on your photo.
  • Bright & sharp. Well-lit, high-contrast photos carve the most detail.
  • Keep text large. Tiny text won't print cleanly.

What's Included?

Each ornament includes a decorative light-adapter cap designed to hang on most standard LED Christmas tree light strings (including pre-lit Christmas trees). It comes in a KOBLO gift box, making it ready for gifting or safekeeping.

Please note: Lights are not included.

Use & Display

Ornaments are designed for use with most standard LED Christmas tree lights, including pre-lit Christmas trees. To attach, remove the threaded KOBLO cap, gently position one or more LED bulbs within the ornament opening, then twist the ornament onto the cap until the ornament is securely hanging.

If the ornament does not comfortably fit with your lights, do not force it.

Material

Each ornament is made from PLA, a durable plastic derived from renewable plant-based sources such as corn and sugarcane.

Quality

Each product is produced individually. Minor surface variations or small imperfections may be visible and are a normal part of the production process.

What is a Lithophane?

A lithophane is a detailed image created through layers of material. When light shines from behind it, the design comes to life with depth, contrast, and a warm glowing effect. KOBLO uses this technique to turn meaningful places and artwork into ornaments, nightlights, and lamps.
